Superman’s greatest vunrability isn’t from some meteor rock…it is from something far more human. His heart.

LOVE Kara’s costume.
These are all great!
Done doing these so here they all are in one place! Fully Dressed Redesigns of Superheroines.
Point of this: An exercise in character design, attempting to clothe the heroines nearly all the way and not making them painted-on, while still keeping the look of their original costumes in some way. Hopefully keeping them looking as iconic as the originally were. Just showing what can be done with a costume breaking outside the barrier of the norm.
NOT the point of this: some moral code I’m trying to push on you
Sorry if there was a character you wanted me to do that I didn’t get to!
I really like these. :)
Personally, I’ve never had a problem with Supergirl wearing a skirt or Wonder Woman showing her legs (in fact I love the Supergirl skirt, as long as it’s not a frilly belt), or etc, but I was really impressed by this. They really do look very recognizable and keeping to their iconic aesthetic “feel”. The Vampirella one really impresses me because it looks like it fits her so well, and yet is such a change from what she normally wears.
My only thing would be I’m not sure if the brown pants work on Wonder Woman. I really love the Supergirl and Power Girl designs. :3
(Credit to sugarfiendgfx for showing me this.)
They look so confortable, that’s weird. damn comics logic

Not that Trinity - the DC women trinity in a lovely piece by the late Al Rio. I punted on the Most Wonderful Time posts AGAIN this year so today I’m going to post lots of holiday DC women art.
WOW.
Unlike a lot of Supergirl fans, I didn’t hate the DCnU Supergirl costume.
But this is what we could have had.
These were Mahmud Asrar’s concept designs for DCnU Supergirl. They picked Jim Lee’s design instead.
I would pay so much money to see her rock that second and fourth outfit.
A lot better than Lee
Blah blah blah women don’t like superheroes. Blah blah blah superhero comics appeal only to males blah blah blah.
So here we have the latest from WeLoveFine.com with some new licensed swag which seem to be designed for self-identified ladies who want to dress like their favorite superheroes,…
She was happy when she picked it up so I’m happier with this piece (Taken with Instagram)
